Haridwar, 09 December (HS). 110 participants displayed their art in a two-day singing, playing, dancing and music competition organized by Madhurima Sangeet Samiti, Haridwar at Tripura Temple Auditorium. The program was organized as a part of the 32nd annual fest of the committee, in which competitions were held for all age groups. Committee Chairperson Shweta Patel said that the program included seven group dances, five group songs, and several solo performances that enthralled the audience. Won. The judges of the competition were renowned musicians Rajeev Lochan Bhatt, Sunil Mukherjee and Nikhil Ghosh. The participants enthralled the audience with film songs, light music, classical music as well as playing harmonium, tabla, pakhawaj and guitar.
Especially Santosh Namdev’s Pakhawaj presentation was highly appreciated. Tripura Temple’s Supreme President Swami Sant Muni said that such events provide an excellent opportunity to the youth of Devbhoomi to showcase their talent and hone their art. He congratulated committee chairperson Shweta Patel and secretary Karuna Chauhan for the successful event. Committee Secretary Karuna Chauhan said that the hard work and dedication of the team was behind this event. He inspired the participants to reach even greater heights in future. The program was concluded by giving away prizes to the winners in the presence of saints. The event left an indelible mark among the cultural and music lovers of Haridwar.
