If the High Court's decision remains intact, Afzal's membership may be cancelled. At the same time, several cases are going on against Azad Samaj Party candidate Chandrashekhar, who won by a good margin from Negi seat in this election. Charges have been framed in four of these. Chandrashekhar's membership may be in danger if he is sentenced to more than two years in any of these cases.
