Prayagraj, 24 October (Hindustan Reporter). The Yogi government is continuously working diligently to make Maha Kumbh, the world's largest event and center of Sanatan faith, accessible to all. More than 40 crore people are expected to come to Prayagraj during this event, for which both the fair administration and the district administration have made preparations for crowd management. Along with this, the crowd will not become a hindrance in taking the 'dip of faith'.
An action plan has been prepared to ensure that there is no chaos due to excessive crowd especially during the main bath. Different routes for commuting have been determined. While mobility continues, arrangements have also been made for this. Special arrangements are being made to ensure that the road is not blocked. Overall, according to the plan made, devotees will have to travel one to 5 km during peak days. And on normal days one km. Will not have to travel more than 100 km on foot.
different ways of coming and going
Prayagraj Divisional Commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant said that in this biggest religious event, a large group of devotees will arrive not only from the state and the country but from the whole world. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed that no devotee should face any inconvenience. In such a situation, an action plan has been made regarding crowd management, according to which arrangements will be ensured. He told that most of the devotees will reach Prayagraj by road. Parking arrangements have been made by the administration in all directions of the city. Devotees will park their vehicles there and decide their further path. Separate routes have been set for entry and exit from the fair area. Those who take the plunge of faith will not return from the path they take. They will have to go through another route, due to which the devotees will not be able to meet face to face.
Jam situation will not be allowed to happen
Divisional Commissioner said that such arrangements are being made that the devotees should not stop together, they should keep moving. Due to this, jam situation will not be allowed to arise. Our aim is to maintain the mobility of the devotees in the fair area as well as in the city, so that after taking bath and darshan etc., they reach the parking place directly and proceed towards their destination. Similarly, Railways has also been requested to operate more special trains on time. So that the devotees continue the journey without wasting their time. Railways has announced to operate several additional special trains. He said that if the devotees want to rest for some time, then some holding areas have also been marked for them.
Special traffic scheme will be implemented during the royal bath days
Divisional Commissioner said that during the main bathing days in Mahakumbh, the number of devotees will reach several crores. It is estimated that on Mauni Amavasya, a maximum of 4 to 5 crore devotees can come to Sangamnagar to take a dip of faith. Mauni Amavasya is likely to be the most dense day. In this too, the time from 3 am to 12 noon will be very critical, when the devotees will approach the Sangam. Their return will start after 12 o'clock. Our effort is to provide them easy access to the confluence area and then back to the parking lot. After reaching the parking lot, they will be sent towards their destination. Our various traffic schemes are ready, so that neither the devotees will have to face chaos nor there will be a situation of traffic panic in the fair and city area.
Indore's bio friendly bags will be used
Divisional Commissioner said that various efforts are being made to fulfill the resolve of the Chief Minister to make this Mahakumbh clean. It is our endeavor that no plastic of any kind will be used in the entire fair area. Their replacement options are being considered. Especially bio-friendly bags from Indore will be used. We are also going to communicate with traders regarding this. Also, people and officials are being encouraged to use different types of bags instead of plastic.
