Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur held a meeting with the representatives of ETT 5994 Backlog Union (Punjab) regarding their demands. During the meeting, the union representatives thanked Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann and Dr. Baljit Kaur for initiating the process by the government to fill the vacancies of SC and ST backlog.
The Cabinet Minister assured the Union that 5994 vacant posts of ETT teachers will be filled soon, out of which 2994 posts are for SC and OBC backlog.
Social Justice, Empowerment and Minorities Minister Dr. Baljit Kaur further said that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann has already created various departments to provide employment to the youth of the state and to fill the backlog of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes. Orders have been issued.
He said that the Punjab government is continuously working to raise the standard of living of the youth of the state.
