Ramgarh, June 24 (HS). To prevent drug abuse in the district, an essay and speech competition was organized among the students of Radha Govind University. As directed by the Higher and Technical Education Department of the Jharkhand Government, an awareness program is to be organized from June 19 to June 25 to prevent drug abuse.
Under this, the Department of Political Science of Radha Govind University organized an essay and quiz competition. Undergraduate and postgraduate students participated enthusiastically in this competition and performed excellently. Five teams were formed in the quiz competition, Team A (Damodar), Team B (Bhairavi), Team C (Nalkari), Team D (Swarnarekha) and Team E (Shankh), in which Team B (Bhairavi) and Team C (Nalkari) jointly won the title of winner.
Honorable Chancellor of the University Mr. B.N. Sah congratulated all the participants and said that addiction not only leads an individual but also the entire society to economic and physical degradation.
On this occasion, the university secretary, Priyanka Kumari, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Samarendra Nath Saha, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr) Rashmi, Registrar Prof. (Dr) Nirmal Kumar Mandal, Finance and Accounts Officer Dr. Sanjay Kumar, Controller of Examinations Prof. (Dr) Ashok Kumar, Management Committee Member Ajay Kumar wished all the successful students a bright future.
