What is joint declaration?

To update any information in the PF account the user has to submit a joint declaration form. This is a form given by the Employees Provident Fund (EPF). This form is used by the PF member to correct any information in the account.

This letter is signed by both the employee and the employer. After correcting the incorrect information in the form, the user will have to submit this form to his regional PF commissioner.

Any change in PF account requires a self-declaration form. You can update or change name, gender, date of birth, parents name, relationship, marital status, joining date, leave date, leave reason, nationality and Aadhar card number in the PF account.

• • Now you have to upload the documents related to the information you want to change and click on submit.

• • After clicking on submit, the request will go to the employer. Changes will be made once the employer accepts the request.
