Jaipur, 29 October (Hindustan Reporter). The five-day festival of lights has started from Tuesday. Keeping this in view, Jaipur Traffic Police has made a special traffic plan in Parkote. With this, people will not have to face any kind of traffic chaos in the park.
DCP Traffic Sagar said that Indian and foreign tourists and city residents come in large numbers to do shopping in the main markets (especially the Parkota area) and to see the decoration of lights in the main markets. Due to this, there is a possibility of excessive traffic pressure on main markets and main roads. Special arrangements have been made for traffic in view of the decorations in the main markets of the city. Which every citizen needs to keep in mind.
He told that till 11 pm, city and mini buses will not be allowed to enter the park from Sanjay Circle, Ajmeri Gate, Sanganeri Gate, Ghatgate, Galta Gate, Dhobi Ghat and Ramgarh Mor. There will be a ban on entry of goods carrying vehicles, cycle trolleys, handcarts, bullock carts, vehicles filled with long pipes and rods into the park from Sansar Chandra Road, MI Road, Ashoka Marg, Yadgar Tiraha to Rambagh Square, MD Road. One-way traffic on MI Road, Ashoka Marg can be implemented till 12 noon as per requirement. Vehicles of domestic/foreign tourists and city residents coming to Parkote for shopping on Dhanteras will be parked in JDA underground parking, Ramniwas Bagh, Ramlila Maidan. There will be no parking of vehicles on the main roads in Johri Bazaar, Hawa Mahal Bazaar, Ramganj Bazaar, Tripolia Bazaar, Chaura Rasta, Kishanpol Bazaar, Gangauri Bazaar, Chandpol Bazaar. There will be no-vehicle zone for four-wheelers in Bapu Bazaar, Nehru Bazaar and Indira Bazaar. In case of excessive traffic pressure in the park area, normal traffic will be diverted as per requirement through parallel routes. There is an appeal to the general public not to park their vehicles on the main road. Park your vehicles only at the designated parking spot. This should not hamper traffic flow.
