Auraiya, July 16 (HS). Rajya Sabha MP Geeta Shakya heard the problems raised by the public representatives in the review meeting of development works held in Manas Auditorium at Collectorate. Regarding the problems, she instructed the concerned that all the departmental officers should take cognizance of the works of public interest themselves and resolve them on time with priority, transparency, as per the standards and quality, so that the common people can get relief from the problems. She said that the public representative should also be informed about the progress and resolution of the action taken in relation to the problem informed, so that he can also inform the common people on time. She said that if there is a need for talks or correspondence for this, then ensure to do it as per the rules, so that there is no delay in the work.
The MP said that if a work is to be done through more than one department, then it should be completed by working with team spirit by maintaining mutual coordination. If any kind of excuses or laxity is seen in this, action will be taken by fixing responsibility of the concerned. He said that in the absence of public welfare works, the schemes run by the government are not seen on the ground as per the intention of the government, due to which the objective of the scheme is not accomplished and dissatisfaction increases among the general public.
In the meeting, MLA Dibiyapur Pradeep Yadav informed about the problems like repairing the connecting roads damaged by heavy vehicles during the construction of Bundelkhand Expressway, cutting off the connections of the poor by the Electricity Department. During this, the problem of water logging was informed by Nagar Panchayat President Raghav Mishra. Block Pramukh Ajitmal Rajneesh Pandey talked about replacing the transformer that had been damaged for a long time in Rampur Bihari Ka Mazra. Block Pramukh Achhalda Sharad Rana said that the Subdivision Office Electricity has been connected to Ruppur, 40 km away, which should be connected to Achhalda and Bidhuna.
District Magistrate Dr. Indra Mani Tripathi assured that the problems raised in the meeting will be resolved by directing the departmental officers and will be completed soon in a quality manner with priority. He also said that all the concerned officers should provide information about their work to the public representatives through a list so that their progress can be seen from time to time.
District Panchayat Chairman Kamal Dohre, BJP District President Bhuwan Prakash Gupta, Superintendent of Police Charu Nigam, Chief Development Officer Ram Sumer Gautam, Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sunil Kumar Verma along with public representatives and concerned officers etc. were present in the meeting.
