International Yoga Day was celebrated from Vindhya mountains to the banks of Ganga and every home and courtyard by diving into this transformative practice and unlocking the true potential.

The Ganga of Yoga flowed in the Vidya region on International Yoga Day. Camps were organised from villages to cities. Yoga Gurus gave tips to ward off diseases through Yoga. Apart from social and political workers, a large number of people were seen doing Yoga. Along with the common people, public representatives also made the tenth International Yoga Day special by practising Yoga and told the public the benefits of Yoga. Soldiers also performed Yoga with complete concentration, which is very effective in keeping the body and mind healthy. The speakers said that Yoga is the only means to keep the body and mind healthy. Yoga is a part of India's ancient civilization and culture.

On the tenth International Yoga Day, the main event was organized on Friday at the ground of Government Inter College, Mahuvariya. Chief guest, State Cabinet Minister Ashish Patel said that yoga is being practiced in India since ancient times. Yoga is connected with the culture of Indians. Yoga is very effective in keeping the body healthy. Daily yoga practice keeps the body fit. India has played a significant role in getting yoga recognition in the world. On 11 December 2014, the proposal to celebrate International Yoga Day on 21 June was approved by 177 members of the United Nations. Yoga Day is being celebrated across the world to spread awareness towards yoga.
Along with the chief guest, Sadar MLA Ratnakar Mishra, Chhanbe MLA Ricky Kol, Municipal Council President Shyam Sundar Kesari and other public representatives of the district, along with Principal Secretary of Social Welfare Department Dr. Hariom, District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan, Chief Development Officer Vishal Kumar along with all district officials, about thousands of people from the district made International Yoga Day special by doing yoga together.
