Material
- 1 cup green peas
- 1 cup wheat flour
- 2 chopped green chillies
- 2 teaspoon coriander
- 1 finely chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp whole cumin seeds
- 1 piece grated ginger
- 2 cloves
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
- oil for frying
- salt to taste
How to make pea parathas
To make parathas, first add a little salt and oil to the flour and knead a soft dough and keep it for 10 minutes. Peel the peas and soften them by boiling them in water for 10 minutes. Grind peas and green chillies in a mixer. – Now add cumin, ginger, chopped onion and garlic in oil and fry. Add ground peas, coriander seeds, garam masala powder, lemon juice and green coriander and mix well. To make parathas, take a ball of dough, fill it with pea mixture and roll it into a round shape. – Now heat a pan and cook the paratha by turning it from both the sides. – Now apply oil or ghee on the paratha and fry it on low flame till it becomes golden. In this way delicious and healthy Matar Parantha will be prepared. Which you can serve with raita, curd or green chutney.
