Ingredients for Chana Dal Pakoda:

Chana dal – 1 cup, cumin – 1/2 tsp, coriander powder – 1 tsp, garam masala – 1 tsp, red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp, curd – 3 tbsp, ground black pepper – 1 /2 tsp, chopped green chilli – 1 tbsp, oil – for frying, salt – as per taste

Method to make chana dal pakodas:

To make chana dal pakodas, first wash the chana dal with clean water and then soak it in water for 4 hours. – After the stipulated time, filter the soaked chana dal and keep it aside. After this, put the lentils and green chillies in the mixer grinder jar and grind them in the mixer until a thick paste is formed. Do not grind the paste too finely. – After this, grind whole coriander and black pepper coarsely. – Then finely chop the green chillies into small pieces.

– Now take out the prepared paste in a bowl and add coriander seeds, garam masala, curd, red chilli powder, finely ground black pepper and chopped green chillies. Add salt as per taste and mix well. – Now heat oil in a pan. When the oil is hot, take a little mixture in your hands, make pakodas and put them in the pan. – Fry the pakodas until they become golden and crisp.
