5 wives of an engineer: In Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, a woman has made serious allegations against her own engineer husband. While seeking help from the DSP, she said- My husband is marrying a new bride every year. So far he has been married five times. I have also filed a case against him. But till now the police has not arrested him. Now the husband is planning to flee abroad. After listening to the woman's painful story, the DSP has ordered the police to take action in the case.
The name of the victim is Mamta Jamra. On Thursday, she reached the SP office. There, she told all her problems to the DSP while crying. She said- I was married to Rustam Singh Shekhar, son of Ramesh Singh Shekhar, resident of Murad Tikonia, on 23 May 2018. After marriage, my husband and in-laws started harassing me for dowry. I tolerated everything thinking that my husband would get better. But when my husband and in-laws did not improve, I filed a case against them in 2022. That case is still pending in the court.
The complainant woman accused her husband and said that after marriage, her software engineer husband used to remain absent from home most of the time citing company work. In such a situation, when she investigated, she came to know that her husband was having many affairs. After this, even more shocking news has been heard. The husband marries again every year by showing off his high profile status. Knowing all this, the ground slipped from under her feet.
Accusation against husband's sisters and brother-in-law
According to the woman, her sisters and brother-in-law also support her in this work. Last year, her husband went to Bharatpur in Rajasthan and married a girl named Jyoti Goyal, who is his fifth wife. The woman has described herself as her husband's first wife. According to the victim, her husband works in a foreign company and till now he has not appeared in any hearing of the cases registered against him. As such, many warrants have been issued against him. But the police have not arrested him yet.
DSP's order
The woman told the DSP – Now my husband is planning to flee abroad. I want his passport and other documents to be confiscated. I just want justice in this case and nothing else. After listening to the woman, DSP Kiran Ahirwar ordered the police to take action against the accused. At present, the case is under investigation.
