End of Gandhi era, know the history of Pilibhit Lok Sabha seat

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Pilibhit is a region rich in linguistic and cultural diversity. Whose border is with Uttarakhand and Nepal. This area surrounded by water and forest is full of natural beauty. The people of this region are friendly and sociable and move with the times.

Now the question will be that why is there heat in the politics of Pilibhit district? After 35 years, Pilibhit is moving towards a new chapter. The names of Maneka Gandhi and Varun Gandhi are not being heard in this Lok Sabha elections.

How close will the race be for BJP candidate Jitin Prasad, how will be the pace of SP candidate Bhagwat Saran Gangwar and whom is BSP's Anees Ahmed trying to strengthen?

Evidence of presence of voters was also found in Newriya, 15 km away from the junction. At the same time, Kalimullah expressed his wish that the alliance should get a chance, but the path is not easy. If someone asks the reason for this, the answer is that the truth is that politics is divided into classes. No one talks about the issues.

Anil Gangwar, sitting 10 km away in Rooppur village, countered his statement and said, tell me on which issue we should talk. There is a need for a permanent solution for protection from tigers and flood-prone areas, but this will not happen during elections. Become strong MPs, they will get strength from the Centre, only then the issues will be resolved. Whatever has happened till now has to be forgotten.

He would enumerate the schemes of the government and point towards the village and say come and see. No one has a house left in Kutch, everyone has been confirmed in the housing scheme. Women do not search for wood in the forests to light the stove. While returning to the city, many people are seen discussing the elections near Station Chowk.

Maneka Gandhi won her first election from this constituency in 1989 and has since become MP six times. His son Varun Gandhi won in 2009 and 2019.

Shortly after the victory, Varun Gandhi started asking questions that troubled the government. Local BJP leaders were staring at the sky after seeing his stance, sometimes on the assembly stage and sometimes on the internet media. This time when it came to the ticket, the leadership has fielded State Public Works Department Minister Jitin Prasad in his place.

Candidates and issues – Jitin belongs to a political family from the neighboring district Shahjahanpur. Started politics from Congress and was MP twice. Since joining BJP in the year 2021, he is a minister in the state government.

SP has fielded former minister Bhagwat Saran Gangwar from Nawabganj in neighboring district Bareilly. In 1991, BJP's Parsuram Gangwar had won this seat, the Gangwar candidate has stood second twice.

SP is relying on the caste card, but BJP has fielded Minister of State Sanjay Gangwar to counter it. They are migrating to Kurmi dominated areas. BSP has made former minister Anees Ahmed its candidate. He has been MLA from Bisalpur assembly seat.

BJP people should look in that direction and take a deep breath. He wants to speculate how much Anees will influence Muslim votes, because SP also has claim on this vote bank.

If we look at the vote percentage of the last five elections, BJP got 59.34 percent votes in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Whereas Samajwadi Party got 37.81 percent votes.

Talking about the results of the last two elections, in 2019 BJP candidate Varun Gandhi had won. He got 704549 votes. Samajwadi Party candidate Hemraj Verma stood second in this election. Who got 448922 votes. It is noteworthy that now Hemraj has joined BJP.

BJP candidate Maneka Gandhi had won this seat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. He got 546934 votes. While Buddhasen Verma stood second with 239882 votes.

It is noteworthy that there are more than 72 tigers in the Tiger Reserve area. Chuka picnic spot on the banks of Sharda river attracts tourists. This district shares its border with Nepal, around which a large number of refugee families live.

The flute here is recognized in the country and the world, which has also been included in ODOP. Being a low lying area, the main occupation here is agriculture. Let us tell you that Varun Gandhi was MP from Pilibhit twice, but this time the party did not give him the ticket.
