Encroachment of cemetery land in Jind, complaint to BDPO

Jind, 16 April (Hindustanism). There is anger in the Muslim community due to encroachment on the cemetery land in village Singhana of Safidon sub-division. On Tuesday, a large number of people from the Muslim community including Dina Khan, Jodharam, Sarajudin, Nizamuddin, Salimadin, Sinder Ali of Singhana village came to meet the BDPO demanding eviction of the encroachment, but were said to have gone to a meeting.

People of Muslim community said that they have been living in village Singhana for many generations. 1 acre 6 kanal 15 marla land has been allotted to him in the village for a graveyard. In Muslim society, after someone's death, burial has to be done but the place of this cemetery has been illegally occupied by some people of the village. They have installed wells of garbage, cow dung and cow dung cakes here. Wherever you look in the cemetery, there is filth spread everywhere. Due to which the entire Muslim society is troubled and they are facing a lot of problems in burying the dead body of someone.

He told that he had met the SDM and DC regarding removal of illegal encroachment, who had marked his complaint to BDPO for action but BDPO did not take any action in this regard. Apart from this, we are being harassed by repeatedly calling the department. During this time he met DSP Ravindra Kumar of CM Flying. On which the DSP said that after recording their statements, further action would be taken.
