But now after talking to BJP leader Vinod Tawde, Gopal Shetty has announced to withdraw his independent candidature. Shetty has said that he was protesting against the disturbances within the party. But once they are convinced, they will support the BJP candidate.

The third and biggest name in this list is Manoj Jarange Patil. Manoj had demonstrated for a long time demanding reservation for the Maratha community. Manoj had earlier announced that he would campaign against many MLAs of the Mahayuti government, but now he has withdrawn his earlier decision. Manoj has said that he will not support any candidate or party in the Maharashtra Assembly elections. Along with this, he has also asked his supporters who had filed nomination papers to withdraw their candidature.
