Bettiah, 03 July (HS). Bihar Revenue and Land Reforms Department, Bihar Patna distributed employment letters among the newly employed contractual candidates for four major posts through employment letter distribution ceremony in all the districts of the state. On Wednesday, employment letters were distributed under the scheduled program at Bettiah District Registration and Counseling Center where newly employed candidates were present since early morning. All the candidates were looking very happy after getting the appointment letter.
In a program organized in the capital of Bihar, Patna, under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, after his address, the distribution of employment letters among the newly employed contract workers was started by Chief Secretary Brajesh Mehrotra. Revenue and Land Reforms Department Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal was also present in this program.
On the lines of the above programme, in the special survey and settlement programme organised at the district level under the chairmanship of District Magistrate, West Champaran, Bettiah, Dinesh Kumar Rai, the distribution of appointment letters among the newly employed contract workers was started by the Chief Guest Janak Ram, Minister, Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Department, Government of Bihar-cum-Minister-in-Charge, West Champaran.
Under Bihar Special Survey and Settlement Programme, appointment letters were distributed among the newly employed contract workers for 14 posts of Special Survey Assistant Settlement Officer, 26 posts of Special Survey Kanungo, 30 posts of Special Survey Clerk and 251 posts of Special Survey Amin.
On this occasion, District Magistrate Dinesh Kumar Rai while addressing the contract workers present in the Collectorate auditorium said that today is a day of joy and happiness for all of you. It is a matter of great fortune that the Minister in-charge of the district has taken out his valuable time to be among you all. He said that you all will do your work very honestly and with a spirit of service. He said that it is expected from all of you that in future you will provide your services by completing all the assigned work on time. He requested the Minister in-charge to kindly start the distribution of appointment letters from him.
Minister-in-charge Janak Ram expressed happiness and instructed all the contract workers to remain happy and said that the Bihar government had promised to provide 10 lakh jobs to the general public, in which appointment letters have been distributed among 9888 people so far. He also said that the Nitish government is committed to provide about 20-22 lakh more jobs in the coming days. The minister wished the workers a bright future and advised them to work with a spirit of service.
