Jaipur, 6 November (HS). Law Minister Jogaram has said that the government will not let even a single person face employment crisis in the state. He said that due to the previous government not taking timely action, today a crisis has arisen in front of about 23 thousand mines approved by the District Environment Impact Assessment Authority (DEIAA), but Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma himself and the state government are serious about this. If we have to file an SLP in the Supreme Court, we will take the services of the best lawyer to present Rajasthan's side effectively. He said that along with this, efforts are being made to find a solution to this problem at all possible levels.

Jogaram said that if the previous government had made positive efforts, this situation would not have happened today. He said that our government took this matter seriously as soon as it came and after applying to the State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) in a very short time, 11553 Form-2 have been uploaded on the Parivartan portal.

Minister Jogaram said that the seriousness of our government can be understood from the fact that as soon as the government was formed, in view of the abundance of cases and the revaluation work of leaseholders and quarry licensees, in addition to the two State Expert Appraisal Committees (SEAC) already established, SEACs were established separately in Jodhpur and Udaipur by notification on June 11, 2024. This also speeded up the work. With the continuous work done by the four SEACs, approximately 6,500 cases have been tested and brought into the process.

Law Minister Jogaram said that the Leader of Opposition should not worry about employment. Our government has started providing new employment opportunities every day. The orders of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) to give approvals from the state level to the mines which have got approvals from the district level, are not there today or after the coming of our government. These orders were issued in December-2022 itself. But even after the NGT order, the previous government neither worried about the 23 thousand mines nor about the future of the 15 lakh workers getting employment from them. Even the previous government did not consider it appropriate to take any action on such an important issue.

Jogaram said that the Leader of Opposition should be clear that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, there will be no shortage of employment in the state. He said that the entire matter is in the knowledge of the State Government and the State Government is serious and has also requested all the concerned mine holders to fill Form-2 on the environment department's portal and upload it by November 7th.
