Employment crisis in Canada! It is claimed that 3000 Indians are standing in line for waiter jobs | News India

Ottawa: Thousands of Indian students get visas to the US or Canada in the hope of earning dollars while studying in the US and Canada. Thousands of parents in India, including Gujarat, send their children abroad on student visas despite the debt. At such a time, a video is going viral on social media, in which hundreds of Indian students are standing in line outside a new hotel in Brampton, Canada. These students are in line for waiter and dishwasher jobs in Canada. This video is an eye opener for Indians. The authenticity of this video has not been confirmed, but the condition of Indian students going to Canada with the dream of earning millions is becoming quite pathetic.

There is a long queue for waiter and maid jobs in a Canadian restaurant. It is believed that more than 3000 people have applied in two days. This points to rising unemployment under Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. This is also a matter of concern for Indians who are dreaming of going to Canada to study or get a job as the long queues for waiter and maid jobs are mostly Indians.

Tandoori Flame, a restaurant in Brampton, Canada, has started hiring waiters and waitresses. Executive manager of the restaurant, Indeep Kaur, told a media channel that we think 3000 candidates can come for interview in two days. Because even on the first day there was a lot of crowd and long queues. Most of the people who came for the interview were Indians.

While posting on the social media platform X, a user Ramandeep Singh Mann wrote that a restaurant in Brampton needs some waiters. But suddenly it reached 3000 students (mostly Indians). Horrible employment conditions and rising costs of living in Canada have made life hell for some people. Serious introspection is needed for students dreaming of going to Canada.

Canada recently cut international student visas by 35 percent. In which there may be a further reduction of 10 percent next year. The Trudeau government plans to issue 437,000 study permits by 2025. This is 10 fewer than the 485,000 permits expected to be issued in 2024.
