In the board meeting of Jal Nigam Gramin on Wednesday evening, the management increased the dearness allowance (DA) of the employees by four percent. This dearness allowance earlier used to be 196 percent, which has now increased to 200 percent. There will now be a good increase in the salaries of employees. This increase will put an additional burden of about Rs 6 crore on the budget of Jal Nigam Gramin. 3265 employees and 7596 pensioners will get the benefit of this increase. The increased salary will be applicable from March 1.

The fifth board meeting of Jal Nigam Gramin was held today in the headquarters auditorium, in which Board Chairman Principal Secretary Namami Gange and Rural Water Supply Department Anurag Srivastava, Managing Director of Jal Nigam Gramin Dr. Balkar Singh, board members Brijraj Yadav, Rajesh Prajapati and Arun Kumar were present. . After very positive discussions in this meeting, it has been decided to increase DA by four percent.

Salary increase will be like this

A spokesperson of the corporation said that if the salary of an employee is currently Rs 25,000, then after the increase of four percent DA, his salary will increase by Rs 1,000. Similarly, the salary will keep increasing in ascending order. 3265 employees and 7596 pensioners will get the benefit of this increase. On a monthly basis, the budget will cost Rs 21 lakh on salaries of employees and Rs 29 lakh on pensioners. A total additional budget expenditure of Rs 50 lakh monthly and Rs 6 crore annually will be incurred.

Building maintenance proposal also passed

Apart from this, a proposal has also been passed in the board meeting regarding the budget for the maintenance of the office of Jal Nigam Gramin.
