Emphasis on making public hearing system effective in Yogi government, Energy Minister warned officials

Lucknow, 23 September. Yogi government is continuously making efforts for timely, transparent and effective resolution of public problems in the state. In this sequence, Urban Development and Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma conducted a public hearing of the complaints received from various districts through Sambhav (Complaint Redressal Portal). During this, he instructed the officers to take action on the spot in many cases, while in serious and pending complaints, he instructed to investigate and take action against the guilty officers.

Instructions to officials to ensure uninterrupted power supply

Sambhav Portal is a portal to ensure timely, transparent and effective resolution of complaints. Now monitoring of under construction projects can also be ensured through this portal. During the public hearing, Minister A.K. Sharma instructed the officials of the electricity department to ensure uninterrupted power supply. He also said that those who steal electricity should be identified and action should be taken against them.

Minister gave strict instructions to officials

The Urban Development and Energy Minister has given strict instructions to the district officials to improve their working style. He said that complaints of harassing the public under political influence are not acceptable under any circumstances. Strict action will be taken against officials who are negligent in works related to public interest.
The Minister gave a final warning to the officers and asked them to improve their working style, otherwise strict action would be taken against the officers concerned.

There is no shortage of budget – Minister

The minister said that the department has no shortage of budget for public interest works. All the necessary works related to the public should be completed on priority basis within the prescribed time limit. Instructed the officers that the redressal of complaints should not be limited to mere paperwork, but the complainant should get real relief. The intention of the government is clear that the problems of the people should be solved effectively at the lower level and no citizen should need to come to the higher level for his small problems.
