Emotional farewell given to retired Bagaha Block Agriculture Officer

West Champaran (Bagaha), 01 August (HS). A farewell ceremony was organized for the retired Block Agriculture Officer Virendra Kumar Sharma at E-Kisan Bhawan located in Bagaha 1 block. The guests on the dais at the farewell ceremony were senior journalist Prof. Arvind Nath Tiwari, Block Technical Manager Satyam Kumar, Nodal Agriculture Coordinator Vinod Kumar Singh, Nodal Agriculture Farmer Advisor Arun Kumar Tiwari. First of all, the retired Block Agriculture Officer Virendra Kumar Sharma was given a grand welcome by garlanding him and presenting him a bouquet.

On the occasion, the agriculture officials honored him by presenting him a shawl, gifts and a book of Ramcharit Manas (Ramayana). On the retirement of Block Agriculture Officer Virendra Kumar Sharma, all the agriculture workers said that we have developed such a deep attachment with BAO sahab that we can never forget it in life. Mr. Sharma's working style was different from others. We will always remember it and following his principles, we too will continuously serve the farmers. BTM Satyam Kumar and ATM Gautam Kumar said that BAO sahab is like our guardian and during his tenure of many years, he has done excellent work and has benefited the farmers of the area from the government's welfare agriculture schemes.

No amount of praise would be enough for his tenure. Senior journalist Prof. Arvind Nath Tiwari said that because of the passion that BAO Virendra Kumar Sharma had for agriculture and farmers, he lived in the hearts of all of us; along with that, he impressed the farmers and people with his efficiency, decency and politeness, which will always be remembered by the workers and the people. On retirement, Virendra Kumar Sharma said that even though I may have got a farewell from the government, but my soul still lives in the farmers of the area; whenever they need me, I will always be ready for them. Becoming emotional, he said that I can never forget in my life the love, affection and support I received from all of you.

After the conclusion of the program, retired Agriculture Officer Virendra Kumar Sharma, senior journalist Prof. Arvind Nath Tiwari and agriculture workers jointly planted nine plants of different species in the agriculture office premises and gave the message of environmental protection. He said that this will keep the environment clean and beautiful. Block Technical Manager Satyam Kumar, Assistant Technical Manager Gautam Kumar, Rohit Sharma, Agriculture Coordinator Gaurishankar Prasad, Vinod Prasad, Munna Sah, Dashrath Kumar, Mahendra Kushwaha, Shailendra Kashyap, Accountant Ritesh Kumar, Executive Assistant Manish Kumar Gupta, along with all farmer advisors Alok Kumar, Rahul Kumar, all the workers and officers associated with the agriculture office etc. were present on the occasion.
