Elvish Yadav trapped in Cobra scandal: This is about the poison deal he confessed in jail

The troubles of Bigg Boss OTT-2 winner and social media star Elvish Yadav are increasing. Elvish has been charged with serious provisions under the NDPS Act for supplying snakes and snake venom. Elvish is accused of financing the purchase and sale of drugs.

What are some of the clauses that apply to Elvish and what do these clauses mean?

According to Section 8/20 of NDPS, possession of ganja or any intoxicating drug like ganja by any person.

– Use of intoxicating drugs by any person under Section 27 NDPS Act.

– Aiding in financing or purchasing of narcotic drugs by a person as per NDPS 27A.

– Making plans for financing or consumption as per section 30 NDPS.

What is NDPS Act?

NDPS Act means Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. It is commonly known as NDPS Act. This Act is an Act of the Parliament of India, which is imposed on any person who manufactures/produces/cultivates, possesses, sells, buys or consumes any intoxicating drug.

Elvis in judicial custody for 14 days

Elvish Yadav was arrested by Noida Police on March 17 in the Cobra case. Elvish is accused of supplying snakes and their poison in rave parties. He is also accused of working on drug finance. After the court order, Elvish has been sent to judicial custody for 14 days in this case. He is currently in jail.

During interrogation, Elvis made a big revelation. He has admitted that he had earlier also met the associates accused in the case of supply of snake venom.

Noida Police had earlier arrested 5 people

A few months ago, Elvish was seen at a rave party with his friends. In this party, he was seen enjoying a dance-party with his friends by tying a rare snake around his neck. In this case, Noida Police had arrested 5 people on 2 November 2023 from Sevron Banquet Hall, Sector 51, Noida. A total of 9 snakes were found. This included 5 cobras, 1 python, 2 two-headed snakes and a red snake.

During interrogation, the accused told that snake venom is used in rave parties. Elvish Yadav was made an accused in the FIR. Now Elvis has admitted that he was already in contact with people who attended the party.
