Elvish Yadav: There is good news for Bigg Boss OTT-2 winner and YouTuber Elvish Yadav. Now Noida Police has lifted the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act) Act imposed on Elvish Yadav, who was sent to jail for supplying snake venom at a Noida rave party.

Noida Police has said that NDPS Act was imposed on Elvish Yadav by mistake. Noida Police said, 'A mistake was made.' Noida Police said that it was some kind of clerical error (typo mistake). Now Article 20 has been imposed on Elvish by removing NDPS.

Section 20 is subject to Section 22 of the NDPS Act. Under the NDPS Act, it becomes difficult for the accused to get bail. Elvish Yadav was presented in the court on 20 March. At that time, Noida Police had told the court, 'The NDPS Act was implemented by mistake. We had to include Section 22 of the NDPS Act but mistakenly included Section 20. This was a clerical (typo) error.

However, the bail hearing of Elvis Yadav was postponed due to the strike in Gautam Buddha Nagar Court. On behalf of Elvish Yadav, his lawyer Gaurav Bhatia also reached the court. Elvis Yadav's lawyer Prashant Rathi has said that the Noida Police had called Elvis Yadav for questioning under Section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) to join the investigation as a witness, but later he was illegally detained. Detained and then arrested.

Advocate Prashant Rathi said, 'Since the case was registered in November 2023, Elvish Yadav has come for questioning five times after being summoned under section 160 of CrPC. Elvish Yadav was also called for questioning on the day of his arrest but the police detained him illegally and wrongfully arrested him. Yadav was also not told why and for what crime he was being arrested, which itself is illegal.
