Electricity supply in Hathras was disrupted due to rain and strong winds, could not be restored even after 40 hours | News India

Hathras, 13 September (HS). Due to the changing weather and the rains of the last three days, the electricity system in the district has gone off track. Electricity employees and officers are busy in repairing the electricity system which has been disrupted for the last 40 hours in the city and countryside, despite this, the electricity system has not been restored yet. While the employees have started coming out through tractor trolleys due to waterlogging in Gigla power house, but till now the electricity system is completely disrupted here too.

The electricity system in the city and countryside of the district has completely collapsed since 9 pm on Wednesday night, which could not return to normal till Friday. Due to heavy storm during rain, trees have broken and fallen on the power lines, due to which the power line broke and fell. The condition of Jaleshwar Road has worsened the most, here the traffic was also blocked due to the breaking of power lines and trees. Overall, the electricity officials came into the field to improve the situation, because due to the cyclone storm and rain, the electricity department has suffered the most loss in the district in the Sadabad area. Here, the line was lost due to the breaking and falling of power poles. The line broke and fell due to the breaking of a peepal tree on the Vasudev Vidya Mandir of the city. Similarly, the power supply was completely disrupted due to line loss on Bijli Ghar Marg. On Friday, the power supply was disrupted for about 40 hours, due to which people faced water crisis. In village Kursanda, the power poles and lines have not been repaired yet, due to which the power supply could not be restored till Friday.

Full efforts have been made to ensure smooth supply of electricity in the city. The supply was started several times but due to frequent tripping, the supply is getting disrupted. The condition of the Gigla power house in the area is the worst. Due to water getting filled under the transformer in the power house premises, there is a power crisis in the villages supplied by this power house. However, full efforts are being made to remove the water through tractor trolley.

According to electricity officials, electricity supply will be completely restored in the city by Friday evening and every effort is being made to restore electricity supply in the rural areas. Probably electricity supply will be restored in the entire area on Saturday.
