Electricity department has issued OTS on outstanding electricity bills, registration will be done till June 30

Electricity Bill Rules: A one-time settlement scheme has also been implemented in Uttar Pradesh for farmers having dues before April 1, 2023.

Under this, registration will have to be done by June 30 in which 30 percent of the principal amount will have to be deposited.

After this, 100 percent interest discount will be given on depositing lump sum amount, 90 percent discount on depositing in 3 installments and 80 percent interest discount will be given on depositing in 6 installments.

Farmers who do not register for the said scheme by June 30 and do not deposit their previous bills will not get the benefit of area-wise free fixed unit 1300/1045.
