Electricity Consumers often complain that they do not get electricity bills on time, due to which they have to pay huge bills for several months at once. To solve this problem, Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has taken a new initiative. Now electricity bills and other services will be provided to consumers through WhatsApp. In Koderma, the electricity department has organized a two-day special camp to link the WhatsApp numbers of consumers with their consumer numbers.
Many facilities will be available on WhatsApp
Giving information to Local 18, Electrical Executive Engineer Subrata Banerjee said that through this new service, consumers will be able to view the electricity bill on WhatsApp and get information about the outstanding amount. Apart from this, consumers can also get information about the time of power cut and its restoration. If any consumer wants to lodge a complaint or get a new connection, then that can also be done through WhatsApp.
Organization of special camps
A special camp is being organized in the Electricity Supply Division Koderma and all the sub-divisions under it, Koderma, Domchanch and Jhumri Tilaiya, on 3rd and 4th September from 11 am to 4 pm to link the WhatsApp mobile numbers of consumers with electricity connections. Is. Consumers can avail this service by visiting their nearest divisional or sub-divisional office. Along with this, consumers can also lodge complaints related to their electricity bills in the camp.
With this initiative, electricity consumers will be able to get their bills on time and can easily avail other services through WhatsApp, which will solve many of their problems.
