Electric Three Wheeler: The demand for electric vehicles (EV) is increasing in India. EVs coming with fast charging option are being liked the most. In this connection, a passenger electric three-wheeler was launched on Friday (April 12), which can be fully charged in 15 minutes. The company claims that this is the world's fastest charging EV. Omega Seiki Mobility has partnered with Exponent Energy for a fast-charging electric three-wheeler.
Priced at Rs 3,24,999, the 'OSM Stream City Quick' EV has the capability to charge from zero to 100 per cent in 15 minutes on Exponent's rapid charging network available in 6 cities, the company said in a statement.
“By reducing downtime on the road and increasing efficiency, Quik ensures that every journey turns into a solid financial gain for drivers,” said Uday Narang, Founder Chairman, Omega Seiki Mobility.
Network in multiple cities
Will cover the vehicle with a warranty of 2 lakh kilometers or 5 years, whichever is earlier. Exponent Energy said in a statement that it will launch 100 charging stations in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru this year, while expanding its network in Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata and Hyderabad.
