After launching his party, Prashant Kishore appointed Manoj Bharti as the working president. Manoj Bharti is an Indian Foreign Service officer. Manoj Bharti has been India's ambassador to four countries. Bharti was posted at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu when IC814 was hijacked.
Announced to contest elections on all seats
Prashant Kishor worked several times for all major forces including BJP and Congress as an election strategist and later focused on the Jan Suraj campaign in his home state Bihar.
Prashant Kishore had announced some time ago that he will form his own party on October 2. He also said that his party will contest the Bihar Assembly elections with strength. He announced elections on all 243 seats of Bihar Assembly.
