Lucknow, 14 December (HS). Lucknow Metropolitan President of BJP Anand Dwivedi said that a meeting has been held with divisional election officers and divisional presidents at the metropolitan office in Lucknow. After this, preparations have been made to hold the election of presidents of all twenty-five divisions of the metropolis on Sunday. Nominations will be made at the designated election place on December 15 from 11 am to 1 pm and the elections will be conducted by consensus.
He told that every candidate will be able to file nomination with one proposer and one seconder from the booth president of his division.
After conducting the elections, the Divisional Election Officers will have to submit all the nomination forms at the Lucknow Metropolitan Office. The Board President candidate determined by the organization should be an active member for two consecutive terms with an age between 35 to 45 years.
In the meeting, Mandal Election Officer, Central runner-up Rajneesh Gupta, West runner-up Anjani Srivastava and various BJP leaders engaged in election related work, Manish Shukla, Harsharan Lal Gupta, Man Singh, Ramesh Toofani, General Secretary Ram Avtar Kanojia, Vice President Ghanshyam Das Aggarwal, Vivek Singh. Tomar, Tinku Sonkar, Saurabh Valmiki, Vijay Bhurji, Abhishek Khare, Manvendra Singh, Chetan Visht, Prakash Mishra, Vinayak Pandey, Vinod Kumar Kallu, Yogesh Chaturvedi, Dilip Srivastava, Akhilesh Giri, Suresh Pandey, Sita Negi were present.
