Election expenditure observer reviews enforcement activities in Bandipora | News India

Jammu, September 7 (HS). Election Expenditure Observer of Bandipora District Sudeep Dabas conducted a comprehensive review of enforcement activities in a meeting held at Mini Secretariat, Bandipora. The aim of the meeting was to ensure that all electoral rules and financial protocols are being followed during the ongoing election process. During the meeting, the observer took stock of several key measures including banking activities, excise procedures, GST compliance, seizure procedures and other related activities.

He conducted a detailed assessment of banking operations to ensure transparency and compliance in election related financial rules. He also reviewed excise duty procedures and goods and services tax compliance to confirm that all procedures are being followed correctly and there are no violations. Sudeep Dabas conducted a detailed assessment of the seizure process to ensure that any seized material is handled in accordance with legal requirements and election guidelines.

He stressed the importance of strict enforcement and compliance of election laws and urged to enhance enforcement activities. Sudeep Dabas said, “Our primary objective is to ensure a transparent and fair election process by closely monitoring the financial activities, excise procedures and seizure operations to maintain the integrity of the electoral system and prevent any possible misuse of resources.” STO Mehraj Wani, DTO Sheikh Abid, DIO Adil Manzoor Wani, DySP Ahmad Shafi, LDM, ETO Danishwar Shafi and other concerned officers were present in the meeting.
