Kolkata, 30 March (Hindustan Reporter). In Burdwan-Durgapur Lok Sabha constituency, Trinamool candidate Kirti Azad has compared BJP candidate Dilip Ghosh to Mahishasur. He even called the rival candidate a “mental patient”. Trinamool and BJP have started a new fight regarding this.
Dilip, BJP candidate from Burdwan-Durgapur Lok Sabha constituency, performed puja at Gaur Kalibari temple in Kamnada, East Burdwan during the election campaign on Saturday. There, after taking blessings from the priest, he said about the rival candidate, “I request the mother that the outside candidate should take off his clothes and go.” Amidst the uproar, during the election campaign in Manteshwar of Burdwan-Durgapur Lok Sabha on Saturday, Trinamool candidate Kirti taunted Dilip by calling him “Mahishasur of Kaliyuga”. In his words, “BJP people should send such Mahishasur to the hospital. If he is not sent, we Trinamool workers will collect donations and get him treated in the hospital.”
It is noteworthy that voting will be held on Burdwan-Durgapur Lok Sabha seats on May 13.
