Roads, flyovers and tunnels will be constructed under the authority's ring road project. A total of eight ring roads will be built in the state. According to the master plan, the target is to complete the ring road project by the year 2029. Under this scheme, people will not only get relief from traffic jams but will also get smooth traffic system.
This project is estimated to cost Rs 58 thousand crores
According to media reports, the road outside Mumbai will be connected to the inter road. After the completion of this work, people coming and going from all over Mumbai will be able to reach easily and without any hassle. For this purpose, the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the Planning Authority of the Metropolitan Region have also approved 90.18 km of road network. The construction of these cities is estimated to cost Rs 58,517 crore.
