Varanasi, 02 December (HS). Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) President Jayant Choudhary has also focused on the districts of Purvanchal to expand the party limited to western Uttar Pradesh. On his instructions, Uttar Pradesh party president, former MLC Ramashish Rai held a review meeting of the party organization on Monday. In the meeting, the officials of Varanasi district and metropolis were called upon to unite afresh to regain the lost ground of the party. After the review meeting, State President Ramashish Rai talked to journalists.
He said that RLD leaders also held public relations and rallies in support of NDA candidates in the assembly by-elections. The result of which was also visible in the results. He said that the party will fight the upcoming assembly elections under the leadership of NDA. Preparations for this are already underway. He said that there is an effort to save the old glory of Rashtriya Lok Dal and the political legacy of former Prime Minister Late Chaudhary Charan Singh. The party has to be taken to the booth level.

Ramashish, who has been active in politics since his student days, has been a national level leader in BJP. The state president, who has traveled the journey to become the national president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, was once very close to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee during his lifetime. Along with Jayant Chaudhary, he is now engaged in reestablishing RLD in Purvanchal. Varanasi Party District President HN Yadav and Metropolitan President Iqbal Raine were also present in the talks.
