Ranchi, May 24 (HS). ED team reached the house of Jahangir, servant of Rural Development Minister Alamgir Alam's PS Sanjeev Lal, on Friday evening. ED team suddenly reached flat number one A of Sir Syed Residency located at Jahangir's Gadikhan and is investigating. Earlier, ED team had raided Jahangir Alam's house on May 5. ED had found Rs 32.20 crore cash from Jahangir's house during the raid.
Alamgir Alam, accused of money laundering related to the tender scam, was arrested by ED late evening on 15 May. Crores of rupees were recovered from the house of Jahangir, the servant of Alamgir's PS Sanjeev Lal. Regarding this, ED interrogated Alamgir Alam for two days. Minister Alamgir was arrested for not giving correct information about the money. Currently, ED is interrogating Alamgir Alam on remand.
