After taking admission in B.Tech on the basis of JEE rank, seats remain vacant in some courses, for which the university has made a provision to fill 30 percent seats through PU CAT. If even after this the seats remain vacant then the process of direct admission will be done on these seats.
60-60 seats are allotted in all branches of engineering. Admission for these seats in the university is done through PU CAT and JEE Mains. Due to seats remaining vacant in many courses in more than 10 faculties, the university has decided that the process of direct admission will also be started to fill these seats. In which admission will be done on the basis of 12th merit.
Talking about this on Saturday, Admission Incharge Dr. Rajneesh Bhaskar said that arrangements will be made for direct admission to fill the vacant seats. But first this process will start after the counseling of the students appearing through PU CAT and JEE Mains.
