According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 5.7 magnitude hit 277 km northeast of Kabul at a depth of 255 km at 11:26 am on Thursday. The tremors of the earthquake that struck Afghanistan today were felt in many parts of North India, including Jammu and Kashmir and Delhi.

Effect in Delhi NCR too

Earthquake tremors were felt in Delhi, Noida and Ghaziabad today.

Tremors were also felt in Pakistan

The impact of the earthquake that struck Afghanistan this morning was also felt in Jammu and Kashmir and some parts of Pakistan. Along with this, earthquake tremors were also felt in Islamabad, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad and surrounding areas of Pakistan. The magnitude of the earthquake in Pakistan has been estimated at 5.4. Earthquake tremors have been felt in some areas of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa of Pakistan.
