Earthquake News: Strong earthquake tremors have been felt in Japan. Its intensity was recorded at 6.1 on the Richter scale. Earthquakes were felt today in Iwate and Aomori prefectures in northern Japan. Earlier in the new year, more than 50 people had died due to an earthquake in western Japan.
