Earth shook due to earthquake, frightened people came out of their homes

Earthquake tremors were felt in the tribal district of Himachal Pradesh on Thursday morning. Its intensity was measured at 2.4 on the Richter scale. Its depth under the ground was 19 km.

Mild Earthquake Strikes Kinnaur

According to the National Center for Seismology (NCS), two light earthquakes were felt at 10.46 am on Thursday. After feeling the shock, people got scared and came out of their homes. Kinnaur district is very sensitive from earthquake point of view i.e. it falls in Zone 5. Because of this, earthquake tremors are felt here again and again.
