Raipur, 8 August (HS). Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain reviewed the implementation of e-office at the Ministry Mahanadi Bhawan here on Thursday. The Project Director of NIC gave a presentation of the e-office process in the Ministry.
On this occasion, all the departments of the Ministry were present in charge of the secretaries. Under e-office, the officers were informed about e-file management system, e-file process, API unit data display, implementation e-office, e-file MIS report and other activities of e-office through presentation.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain has directed the officers of all departments to know the processes of e-office and take all necessary steps to work under e-office. He has instructed the NIC officers to sit regularly in the ministry for the implementation of e-office.
On this occasion, the Chief Minister also gave detailed information to the officials about the Jandarshan Portal. Regarding the Jandarshan Portal, the Chief Minister's Secretary, Mr. Rahul Bhagat, informed about the process of quick resolution of applications received in Jandarshan through the portal. From August 15, e-office will be implemented in the Ministry in a phased manner.
E-office will speed up the administrative work. With e-file technology, all the note sheets in the ministry will be written and sent online, the movement of files will speed up. Information about the file being stuck at which level in the ministry and for how many days will be available immediately. This will make it easier to review at the government level. All files being available online will bring transparency in the administration.
In this meeting held through video conferencing, Additional Chief Secretary Religious Trust and Endowments Subrata Sahu, Additional Chief Secretary of Forest and Climate Change Department Mrs. Richa Sharma, Secretary Chief Minister and Good Governance and Convergence Rahul Bhagat, Secretary of Urban Administration and Chief Minister Basavaraju S., Secretary of General Administration Department Anbalagan P., Secretary of Finance Department Mukesh Kumar Bansal, Commissioner Public Relations Mayank Shrivastava and senior officers of various departments participated.
