Lok Sabha Election Result 2024: Sources have informed that amid the counting of votes for the Lok Sabha elections, PM Modi and Union Minister Amit Shah have spoken to TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu regarding the next strategy.
Sources further said that there was also a discussion on making Chandrababu Naidu the coordinator of the NDA. PM Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah spoke to Chandrababu Naidu at a time when the Congress leadership had contacted him just a few minutes ago.
TDP is an ally of BJP in NDA, so if BJP does not get majority on its own, then it wants to form an alliance with some party in its coalition. This is because in the first round of counting, BJP does not seem to get majority on its own. If TDP joins the opposition alliance 'Bharat', then it can create problems for the BJP government.
Who is getting how many seats?
According to the Election Commission, till 1.30 pm (4 June), BJP has won 2 seats and is leading on 237 seats. Whereas TDP is leading on 16 seats. Congress, which is part of the opposition alliance 'Bharat', is leading on 98 seats.
