Dhamtari, October 10 (HS). Police and administration held a peace committee meeting on October 10 in the Jan Samvad Room Kotwali police station premises regarding Durga immersion, tableau and Dussehra festival in the city. Durga Samiti officials, members and city residents participated in it. An appeal has been made to celebrate Durga tableau, immersion and Dussehra festivals in a peaceful and harmonious manner. Information about complete ban on music system was given in the meeting. Arrangements have been made for Durga immersion for two days on 11th and 12th October.
It was told in the meeting that the tableau will be immersed through a crane from Makkai Chowk to Bilai Mata Temple Rudri Ghat. It has been said that a total of nine tableaux will be taken out by the Durga Tableau Committee. The timing of the tableau has been fixed from 5 pm to 11 pm on October 11. Videography and photography of Durga tableau and Durga immersion will be done by the administration. Whereas Durga Visarjan will start from 12 noon on 11th October. Dhamtari police and administration officials informed the members of Durga Jhanki committees about the guidelines and rules. Three separate teams will be formed by Dhamtari Police. SDM Dr. Vibhor Agarwal, in-charge Corporation Commissioner PC Sarva, police station in-charge City Kotwali Rajesh Marai, Durga Pandal and Durga Tableau Committee and city residents were present in the meeting.
