In the three-day Vibrant Gorakhpur-2026 conference, Shri Kamlesh Paswan, Minister of State, Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the resolve to provide better road connectivity to rural areas is rapidly being realized. While praising the performance and achievements of Uttar Pradesh Prime Minister Rural Roads Department, he praised the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister and Rural Development Minister Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya. The work of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in Uttar Pradesh has gained momentum due to the hard work, dedication and dedication of Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya towards the public. The efforts being made towards making rural roads quality, durable, advanced and environment friendly have made an important contribution in giving the state a leading position in the country.

The Union Minister of State also appreciated the work of Shri Shiv Sahay Awasthi, Chief Executive Officer of Uttar Pradesh Rural Road Development Agency. He said that effective implementation of schemes, monitoring the quality of construction works and compliance with the prescribed standards are necessary to achieve the goals of rural development.
