This ancient language is important not only for India but for the world and with the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Prakrit language will get a new dimension. Dr. Ashish Jain said these things in a seminar organized at CSJMU on Tuesday.

A one-day seminar on the importance of Prakrit language for India and the world was organized by Acharya Vidyasagar Sudhasagar Jain Chair at the School of Languages, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (CSJMU), Kanpur. Keynote speaker Dr. Ashish Jain said that both Sanskrit and Prakrit languages ​​are the pride of Indian culture.

Speaker Dr. Samani Sangeet Pragya (Jain Vishwa Bharati University, Ladnu Rajasthan) said that one of the main reasons for Indian culture being immortal and immortal is the connection of India's religious and spiritual culture. In Prakrit literature, kindness, compassion, non-violence have been talked about as the accomplishments of life. Referring to the inscriptions, Samani said that the description of India's antiquity is reflected in the inscriptions found in Prakrit language.

As chief guests, chief trustee and founder of Jain Shodhpeeth, Pradeep Ji Tijara and Arvind Kumar informed about the history of Prakrit language and said that Lord Mahavir gave his teachings in Prakrit language. The high respect for Prakrit language that the Jain community had been striving for for a long time was finally achieved under the able leadership of Prime Minister Modi.

Convenor Dr. Ankit Tripathi assured that the university will always strive for the promotion and development of Prakrit language. Dr. Prabhat Gaurav Mishra emphasized on the importance of Prakrit language and literature. During this, students and teachers from different provinces of the country joined Prime Minister Modi and Vice Chancellor Prof. Expressed gratitude to Vinay Kumar Pathak.
