Due to rain in Kota district, holiday was declared in government and private schools on Tuesday

Kota, August 12 (HS). The weather department has issued a red alert on Tuesday in view of the possibility of extremely heavy rains in Kota district. In view of the red alert, a holiday has been declared on Tuesday, August 13 for students of classes 1 to 12 in government and private schools of the district.

District Collector and Chairman District Disaster Management Authority, Kota Dr. Ravindra Goswami, using the powers conferred in Section 30 of Chapter 4 of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, has declared a holiday on August 13 for students of all government and non-government schools from class 1 to 12 operating in the district. The holiday will be applicable only for students while teachers and other staff will work as usual. The District Collector has directed all the heads of institutions in the district to ensure strict compliance of this order. If any institution head violates the order, action will be taken against him under the provisions of the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
