List of Public Gazetted Holidays 2025 India: The government has released the list of holidays for central employees. The Central Government has released the list of public holidays (Gazetted Holidays) and restricted holidays (Restricted Holidays 2025) for the year 2025. According to this list, there are a total of 17 gazetted and 34 restricted holidays. Gazetted holidays are mandatory holidays in the government calendar. Restricted holidays are an option. Employees can choose them as per their wish. The calendar of holidays issued by the government is applicable in all government offices.
