Ramgarh, 3 August (HS). It has been raining continuously in Ramgarh district for the last 48 hours. Due to which the rivers have flooded. The water level of Damodar and Bhairavi rivers has suddenly increased. Due to the flood in Bhairavi river, water has also entered the temple of Rajrappa Maa Chhinnamastika. The main gate has been closed for the devotees there. Devotees are being allowed to enter from the other gate.
The water of Bhairavi river has reached the Bali Sthal. Water has entered other roads as well, due to which people are facing problems. Hundreds of shops near the main gate of Rajrappa temple have suffered heavy losses due to water entering them. Ramgarh district administration and people of the temple trust committee have instructed the devotees to remain alert. Also, bathing in the river has been banned. Temple committee members say that there is a flood right now due to which there is a possibility of loss of life and property. If devotees enter the river to bathe now, they may be in danger. In Ramgarh too, the district administration has put people living on the banks of the Damodar river on high alert. Even cattle keepers have been instructed not to go near the river.
