Varanasi, June 29 (HS). Due to the development work done in Varanasi in the last ten years, fire brigade vehicles are taking less time to reach the incident site. The network of flyovers, ring road, construction of new roads and widening of roads in the district is also helping in saving lives and property of people. Due to good connectivity, the response time of the fire brigade's fire engines has reduced, due to which the fire brigade vehicles are taking less time than before to reach the incident site. The result of this is that the response time of the fire brigade has decreased by about 4 minutes. Due to the reduction in response time, the response of the fire brigade has become more effective and faster than before to prevent fire accidents and complete relief work for saving the lives of the affected people at the incident site.
Earlier, carrying out relief operations in an emergency situation was quite challenging. Due to traffic and other reasons in the streets of Varanasi, it becomes very difficult to provide quick response. In such a situation, completing relief operations on time is very important for saving lives. Keeping this in mind, the ongoing development works in Varanasi are also being completed. Chief Fire Officer Anand Singh Rajput says that due to the new flyovers, ring roads, widening of roads, construction of highways, systematic parking etc. constructed in Varanasi, fire engines are taking less time to reach the incident site.
-People are getting response in just 14 minutes in Varanasi city
The Chief Fire Officer said that in the month of May, the response time in the city area is about 14 minutes, which was about 17 minutes earlier. Whereas the response time in the rural area has become about 19 minutes, which used to be about 25 minutes earlier. Overall, the average response time in Varanasi was 21 minutes, which has now come down to 17 minutes. All this has been possible due to the good roads involved in the development of Varanasi.
