Drunk driving proved costly for CMHO, line attached

Umaria, 25 June (HS). Dr. Ram Kishore Mehra, head of the district's health department, had to pay a heavy price for driving a bike under the influence of alcohol and falling down on National Highway 43.

Taking cognizance of the matter, Directorate of Health Services, Bhopal immediately relieved Dr R K Mehra from the charge of CMHO and attached him to the office of Regional Director Health Services, Rewa Division, Rewa and handed over the charge of CMHO Umaria to Dr Shiv Vyohar Chaudhary, Family Welfare Officer, Umaria with immediate effect.
