Ranchi, August 14 (HS). Security has been beefed up in the capital Ranchi in view of Independence Day. The main Independence Day function will be held at Morhabadi. For security, the entire function venue will be monitored with six drone cameras. Many VVIPs will be present at the function.
In view of this, SSP Chandan Sinha has deployed 1000 jawans including eight DSPs, more than 24 inspectors at the venue of the function. Rapid Action Police, Echo, JAP, JAP Mahila Battalion, IIRB, Braj Vahan, Water Cannon, Tear Gas, Fire Brigade etc. have been deployed among the 1000 jawans. In view of security, hotels are being searched in the entire district late at night since two days ago. Apart from this, vehicle checking campaign is also being conducted.
