Drinking water facility for pilgrims, 45 tanks placed on Parikrama route

Junagadh: Junagadh District Collector Anil Kumar Ranavasia directed various offices to make their operations more efficient. Special arrangements were made by the Junagadh district administration to ensure that pilgrims visiting the Girnar Green Circuit get the facility of drinking water during the route. The district administration has increased the facility of drinking water this year, especially near Nal Jal Ghodi.

The Tap Water Horse is a steep and difficult route due to the topography. Drinking water points have been provided below, above and below the tap water horse to ensure access to drinking water to the pilgrims in this area.

Apart from this, 2 new drinking water points have also been provided near Malwela. Adequate provision has also been made by the system for refilling drinking water tanks.

Notably, Gujarat Water Supply and Sewerage Board has facilitated 22 drinking water points on the route of Girnar Green Circle, for which 45 tanks have also been placed. Thus, after much effort, arrangements for drinking water have been made in this forest area.
